Set to be released on February 17, 2020 on the Epic Games Store, Corruption 2029 is starting to generate some hype around its upcoming launch. PC gamers are starting to ask the question “Can I run Corruption 2029 on my computer?” The game is set in a not-so distant future dystopian America and is classified as a tactical strategy game. It’s being developed by The Bearded Ladies - the same developer team that brought you Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden so you can expect some awesome things from this new title. It is said to play out like a hybrid of XCOM and Metal Gear Solid - tactics and stealth will both need to be mastered in order to progress. You must lead your team of heavily augmented units deep into enemy territory in order to uncover the source of the CORRUPTION. If you just want to run Corruption 2029 on the bare minimum graphics settings, then you just need to pass the minimum system requirements test.

Passing the minimum system requirements test for Corruption 2029 means that you can run it on at least low-medium settings with a solid and steady frames per second. They are pretty average when looking at other games in the same genre and only slightly higher than XCOM 2 so hopefully even some laptops can pass. The minimum required video card models for Corruption 2029 are the Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 and the AMD Radeon HD 7850. It’s also stated that your video card should have at least 2 GB of VRAM. The Bearded Ladies list the Intel Core i3-4160 and the AMD FX-4300 as the minimum CPU models. The RAM requirement is pretty standard - only 4 GB of system RAM is needed. Your hard drive should also have 5 GB of space for the download and save files. Passing this test and running on low-medium settings may not cut it for some people. If you want to run Corruption 2029 on max settings, your computer should be able to pass the recommended system requirements test.

The recommended system requirements test for Corruption 2029 is significantly higher than its minimum specs, but they are still lower or on par with Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden. if your computer is more powerful than the listed recommended requirements, you should be able to run it on max settings with at least 60 FPS. At the GPU slot, The Bearded Ladies believe you need at least a GeForce GTX 970 or a Radeon RX Vega 56 to max out their new game. Your computer should also have at least an Intel Core i7-4770 or an AMD FX-9370. It’s also recommended that your rig have at least 8 GB of system RAM. In order to get the best experience playing Corruption 2029, you should have Windows 10 installed for your OS.
